L'intento di questo cross è stato quello di andare a miscelare due linee di sangue apparentemente molto diverse tra loro, ma che allo stesso tempo hanno alcune similitudini sia nel fenotipo che, se pur lontane, nel genotipo. Notiamo infatti la presenza di alcuni ceppi OFRN e Castillo in ambo due le genetiche. La linea paterna racchiude una selezione ormai persa dovuta alla scomparsa di Bob Miller. Basata principalmente su cani di derivazione Eddington con innesti di sangue OFRN dati dalla presenza di soggetti quali Wilder's Red Apache, Red Satan, Squires Red Shedder. Su quest'ultimo soggetto vorrei ci soffermassimo un attimo in quanto ha svolto un ruolo importante in entrambe le genetiche. Sopratutto in quella femminile trattandosi quasi di un pilastro della linea Amber Light Columbia River, essendo padre di Red Renger. La linea materna invece, più fresca, ha una genetica più "fissata"data dal line breeding 2-3 su Infernal Gordon, con piccoli innesti di sangue Scagliotti presente nel ramo materno .
